What stops us majority of Indians from seeking to make big money?
I should be a person who should be able to answer this question since I belong to this vast majority.
Most of us cannot break out of our respective moulds. So a son of a clerk wants to become an MBA, the son of a businessman wants to open a retail shop like his father, and the majority of us chase our own little causes like wanting to open an NGO for the socially-less-privileged sections of the society or become a cricketer or model etc.
There is a huge disdain to the liking for big money! We cannot think beyond a few thousands or lakhs per month!
And then there is this huge judgement about what is good money and bad money! Anything which the Society praises you for (and society always appreciates people who work for peanuts) is good! Almost makes one feel angelic!
Anything that could break any law, even an archaic law, just for the heck of it; or because it can draw in a huge amount of money: is a strict No No, because there is the risk element of getting arrested etc., then what about my mother, my sister, my brother etc.
We all have the perfect excuses not to break out of our own dingy mentalities, not to think big, not to take risks, and we all want employment guarantee from the Government just for the reason that we are born on the Indian soil.
For Capital, Investments, Margins etc. who gives a fuck!
